Car was purchased new at Earl Hayes Chevrolet in Dallas, Texas.
First owner was a captain in the US Airforce/Pilot. After retiring the original owner was active with the local Corvette club. He enjoyed car shows and just driving his baby. Unfortunately he passed due to ill health and his Corvette was stored for four years. The car was sold by the family in an estate sale in 2010. The buyer of the Corvette is a professional Corvette restorer who was known as a member of the NCRS Organization. Restoration was completed in 2013.
This is a numbers matching, complete drivetrain and all engine components are numbers matching and dated (rebuilt as required). Motor is a 100% Corvette professional rebuild, done with all new components.
This restoration was a complete frame off restoration; every part has been replaced or rebuilt as necessary. All new suspension, exhaust system, brakes, tires / aluminum knock-off wheels, glass and re-chromed bumpers. Interior dash and door panels are original and in excellent condition. All instruments are operable. New carpets front and rear.
Paint is a 10 plus with clear coat; the finest Corvette professional paint job available. Original paint codes shows Daytona Blue.
