Quality Used Corvettes for Sale for over 35 years!

Monterey Car Week 2017 will draw to a close tonight after the main event, the Concours at Pebble Beach. Our photographer Philipp Lücke has spent the week wondering the various events and has collated a gallery showing all of the random sights he has encountered.

Monterey Car Week is, after all, an event for enthusiasts. There might be countless shows and auctions happening but what really makes it special is the fact that so many like-minded people are drawn to a small Pacific cost town to celebrate the automobile.

Philipp managed to capture the complete mix of exotic cars that grace the streets in California at this time of the year, ranging from a McLaren P1 GTR, Bugatti Veyron Supersports and a Bugatti EB110, through to Koenigsegg’s, Ferrari F40’s and Ferrari 288 GTO’s.

Today marks the return of “The Quail” (short for The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering) in Monterey, California. Each year during Monterey Car Week, which culminates with the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance on Sunday, enthusiasts, collectors and revelers gather at The Quail to ogle some of the finest automobiles ever made.

Most are vintage and rare; many are new; all are perfect. Cars are divided into ten classes this year (two classes are being added to the traditional eight), including but not limited to The Great Ferraris, Post-War Sports 1945–1960 and Supercars and Custom Coachwork. The cars shown in the gallery above each represent a different class on display this year.

There are few other places on the planet, if any, where one could stroll past a 1931 Bugatti Type 51, a 1967 Porsche 911 S, a 1959 Ferrari 250 LWB California Spyder and a

While Monterey Car Week has grown to include well over a dozen different events, including several auctions, four stand out as the absolute must dos if you want to see the most significant classics possible, as well as the hot new metal being brought out by various automakers. Chief among them, of course, being the grand-daddy of them all, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

If you can’t make it out to see the Pre-Reunion, then it’s worth attending the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion for at least one day during Car Week. Thursday and Sunday are our favorite days to attend, with smaller crowds than Friday and Saturday and fewer overlapping events. While you’re there, be sure to hike up to the top of the Corkscrew, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca’s signature left-right turn that drops several stories in the process. It’s a great vantage point

CARMEL, Calif. — Dolores Street in Carmel was taken over by women and their cars Wednesday for the first ever all-women car show.

“I brought a Ferrari F430, 2005, it’s Tour de France Blue,” said Sandra Pepe, showing off her sparkling sports car Wednesday afternoon.

Pepe is one of about 50 women who showed up with their cars to the Prancing Ponies Car Show.

Organizer Chanterria McGilbra has been on a national campaign to get more women involved in the world of cars.

“I was never encouraged to like cars, or be into cars as a kid but ironically I bought my first Ferrari and it changed my life,” said McGilbra.

The Bay Area businesswoman founded Prancing Ponies a few years later as an all-women Ferrari rally that is now a foundation raising funds to empower young girls.

Prancing Ponies has held rallies from San Francisco to Santa Barbara and the next one planned is
