The ’57 Corvette was a turning point for America’s Sports Car. After having gained roll-up windows and a more user-friendly soft top mechanism the previous year, Corvette really came into its own in ’57. This was the first year for Fuel Injection and the first year for a 4-spd. manual transmission. Making it a world class sports car for the first time. Things would only continue to get better from then on!
This very sharp and correct ’57 Fuelie has benefited from a complete, nut and bolt frame off restoration! Although done in the mid ’90’s, you wouldn’t know by looking at it! The car still looks beautiful and fresh and runs like the true performance car that it is! Optioned with the correct, top of the line 283/283hp Fuel Injected engine and ultra-rare 4-spd., this Corvette is the collectible one to have! To top it off, it’s garnered an N.C.R.S. Top Flight and Chevy Vette Fest Silver Spinner Award! Included are detailed photos of the restoration and tons of receipts for all of the work done.
