Black w/Red interior, 6.2L Twin-Turbo V8, 8-spd. Paddle-Shift automatic transmission.
With the values of stock ’63 Split Window Coupes escalating rapidly, it’s quite unusual to find one that’s been heavily modified. However, on occasion we do run across an outstanding Resto-Mod. Like the one presented here . . .
This split-window was a ground-up build with no expense spared. It’s powered by a twin-turbo Gen V LT1 6.2-liter engine with push-button ignition, and an 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifter, with horizontal intercoolers mounted under the functional custom-milled billet hood grilles. This ‘Vette is equipped with an SRIII Motorsports custom chassis with a C7 Corvette Grand Sport suspension front and rear, and huge C7 GS brakes and coilovers at all four corners. It’s riding on Nitto Invo tires wrapped around the custom true knock-off Forgeline RS6 wheels. The bumpers have been sectioned and fit tight to the body front and rear, along with one-off side pipe covers finished in brushed nickel. The engine bay is finished in Satin Red with hand-formed brushed aluminum engine cover, hinges and latches, along with closeout panels. The interior retains the classic styling with everything covered in bright red Italian leather, including the custom seats, dash, door panels and headliner. It features Classic Instruments gauges, a Custom Autosound vintage stereo and Vintage Air.
