1963 Daytona Blue Corvette Fuel Injected Convertible
Daytona Blue w/Blue interior 327/360hp, fuel injected, 4-speed manual transmission. Hard top only.
When the all-new 1963 Corvette was introduced to the public in 1962, it became an instant classic! If there was a “perfect” shape for a sports car, it’s a fair bet the mid-year Corvette was it. And with 4-wheel independent suspension and a beastly fuel injected V-8 under the hood, the performance equaled its design!
We’ve had many 1963 Corvette Convertibles pass through our showroom doors over the years, from survivor originals to nut and bolt frame off restos. But the one presented here is surely one of the nicest we’ve had the pleasure of knowing!
This three time N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award winner has undergone a no expense spared, frame off restoration (photos of the restoration included) and the results are nothing less than spectacular! The numbers matching fuel injected engine has been verified by C.C.A.S. as original to the car and the N.C.R.S. Shipping Data Report show’s it as an original CA. Corvette having been sold out of Bob Bately Chevrolet in Elk Grove. The quality of the restoration is evident throughout.
Daytona Blue is one of the prettiest colors ever offered on a Corvette and as it’s presented here, the color just glows! But even with all of the dazzle, if she don’t run, then it’s just a piece of sculpture. And run, she does! The fuelie starts up with ease and idles with a nice mechanical “clack”. Put your right foot down on the go pedal, and feel the power! Shifting is precise and braking is sure footed. This is a Corvette to drive and enjoy as well as take to any concours or N.C.R.S. event with pride! Stk #6015
