Nassau Blue w/Blue interior, 396/425hp, 4-spd. manual transmission.
Going into its third year of production, the ’65 Corvette offered many choices of engines and options to its potential buyers. This was a milestone year for Corvette. It was a year of firsts and lasts. After being the top engine choice since it was first offered in ’57; the mechanical fuel injected small block made its final appearance in ’65. But, there was no need to worry about a fitting replacement because the fabled Mk IV big block engine made its first appearance in ’65! Offered as a one year only 396ci displacement with 425hp, its size would increase to 427ci the following year.
