Mosport Green w/Black interior, L72 427/425hp, 4-speed manual transmission.
Most Corvette fans will look at a ’65 and ’66 Corvette side by side and find it difficult to see a lot of differences. And for the most part, there aren’t many. Sure there were some minor cosmetic updates here and there. However, under the hood of a ’66 big block, there was one major change from for previous year that we all remember fondly. And that was cubic inches! With the introduction of the ’66 came an increase in the size of the big block to the iconic 4-2-7! Horsepower was initially rated at 450 early on in the model year, then was mysteriously lowered to 425. It was also a torque monster at 460 lbs/ft! Thus, a legend was born.
The previous owner of this beautiful ’66 owned it for 21 years. During that time, he kept it in excellent driver condition, performing the necessary oil changes, tune-ups, tires and replacing maintenance items as needed. The car looks great with it’s highly desirable, one year only Mosport Green exterior w/Black interior and soft top. The car is equipped with side exhaust (added), knock-off wheels wrapped in black wall radial tires (added), AM/FM radio, 4.11 Positraction rear end, M-21 4-speed manual transmission, and a #’s matching L72 427/425hp engine. This is the kind of Corvette that you could drive on a regular basis and then take it to a weekend car show and be proud to display it!
