Classic White w/Black interior, 454/275hp, 4-spd. manual transmission.
The ’73 is one of those Corvette that tend to get overlooked when subject of milestones get discussed. It’s always been one of our favorites, but it doesn’t get the respect we think it deserves. The year 1973 was a transitional one for most American cars. The Federal Government had mandated the phasing in of 5mph energy absorbing bumpers. And there were very few manufactures that were able to adopt them gracefully into the design of their cars over the following few years. But, Corvette was the exception! Although, it took until ’74 to fully incorporate the new bumper system, the use of the “old” chrome bumpers in the rear and “new” urethane bumpers in the front along with revised front fenders and new Cowl Induction hood proved to be one of the most graceful ever incorporated into Corvettes design.
The absolutely beautiful example presented here is the nicest and highest option ’73 we’ve ever had in stock! The frame-off restored Convertible features a #’s matching 454ci LS5 big block engine, M21 close ratio 4-spd. transmission, air conditioning, p/b, p/s, p/w, Deluxe interior w/leather seats, am/fm stereo radio, tilt/tele steering column, rear defogger and both hard and soft tops. It’s in pristine condition throughout and runs and drives as good as it looks!
