The 2014 model year marked the introduction of the all-new seventh generation Corvette and reintroduced the Stingray name. The body featured a more angular look with more pronounced body lines. The Z51 package brings several performance‑oriented upgrades: Larger / slotted brake rotors (better cooling, stopping power) Dry‑sump oiling for the engine to maintain oil pressure during high‑load/high‑g driving Special suspension tuning, including optional Magnetic Ride Control for smoother yet more responsive damping.   Electronic limited‑slip differential (ELSD) which helps during aggressive cornering, improves traction. Performance tires and wheels (wider, more grip) and aerodynamic add‑ons (spoilers, etc.) for improved handling & stability.
