The Chevy Corvette is making more waves in the car world! It has now snagged the top spot in the Canadian Black Book 2023 Awards for Best Retained Value in a Sports Car: Luxury category. What’s the big deal? Well, it means the Corvette holds onto most of its original value compared to other used cars.
And that’s not all. Back in March, it also clinched first place in the Canadian Black Book 2023 Best Residual Value Award for its category. This award looks at how likely a car is to hold its value four years after it’s first sold. The Corvette came out on top as the one most likely to keep its worth even after several years.
The competition was tough, with Porsche models in the mix. But the Corvette outshone the Porsche 911 and the Porsche 718 Boxster, keeping more of its value after use.
The Corvette isn’t the only star in Chevy’s lineup. The Spark and Silverado 1500 grabbed second and third spots in their categories. Plus, as a brand, Chevy ranked second in the Overall Brand Award for Cars.
And here’s the cherry on top: the 2023 Chevy Corvette also snagged the J.D. Power Canada ALG Residual Value Award for Premium Midsize Sports Cars. This award recognized its potential to hold onto its resale value three years down the line.
