Corvette Mike is proud to present one of the most iconic race-bred Corvettes ever built — the 1968 Le Mans Blue L88 Convertible once campaigned by James Garner’s American International Racing (AIR) team.

This isn’t just a Corvette — it’s a rare piece of motorsports and Hollywood history. One of just three factory-built L88 convertibles delivered in November 1967 for Garner’s team, this car was specially ordered through GM’s COPO program and features the legendary L88 engine with closed-chamber aluminum heads.

From the silver screen to the racetrack, this Corvette captures the fearless spirit of late-1960s American performance.

Marianne’s 78 Anniversary, 69 and 22 Corvettes

I have been corvette crazy all my life. The first car I bought was a 1973 red coupe. Went on to get a 78 silver anniversary pictured above. Corvette Fever magazine was one of many vette inspired magazines I subscribed to in the 70s and 80s. I even managed to be one of their vette mates when I was young and relatively “hot”! Since the 78, I have owned a 62, 69, and now this beautiful ‘22. I am a retired art teacher and spend my “retirement” cutting all my firewood, hiking with my visually impaired cat, and supporting my many animals, cats, bunny, horse. I absolutely love the 22. I had the 69 for over 35 yrs and it took the radical change in appearance and engineering to get me to want to part with my beloved 69. And that, my friends, is my story!
