Stunning, and rare Special Edition Jag!
We think the Jaguar F-Type S is arguably one of the prettiest cars of the 21st century, and the 2017 model does nothing to mess with the winning exterior design. The car is available in different degrees of “hotness”. One of them being he supercharged 3.0-liter V6, mated to an 8-speed paddle-shifted automatic. Like the stunning British Design Edition featured here. This potent engine snaps and crackles enough to remind you that you’re in a cool Jag Convertible. With the V6, it’s hard to tell the difference between the two different modes in the dynamic exhaust setting, but with it in loud mode, you might hear some more snapping and popping.
The eight-speed shifts well in automatic mode and is lightning-quick when tapping the paddles. This Jag is quick, and sure footed. And it happens to be a blast to drive in manual-shift mode!
With this special edition, you get a stunning “Ultra Blue” exterior, Satin Gray wheels and a bunch of subtle Union Jacks scattered around the car. Also, part of the package are bigger steel-rotor brakes, and sharp blue stitching in the interior. This was 1 of only 300 cars brought into the U.S. So, on top of it being beautiful, it could also be a future collectible!
The one presented here is in excellent condition, with only 23k miles on the odometer!
