Chevrolet just dropped a full video of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 hitting an average of 233 MPH at the ATP track in Papenburg, Germany. Behind the wheel was GM President Mark Reuss, who credited the car’s engineering and preparation for the impressive run. Reuss kept the ZR1 in Sport Mode, pushing it to the 8,000 RPM redline in 6th gear.
The two-direction top-speed run clocked in at 233.08 MPH and 233.50 MPH, averaging 233 MPH. Chevrolet proudly claims it’s the fastest production car under $1 million, achieved with a standard ZR1—no special modifications, just the stock chassis, aero package, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
“Setting this record was a surreal experience,” Reuss said. “The mid-engine design made this possible, and it’s a true testament to the ZR1’s power and the incredible team behind it.”

It was seven days before Christmas, and the showroom was packed tighter than Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. Shiny Corvettes in every color gleamed under twinkling holiday lights, and classic beauties sat side by side, their chrome sparkling like tinsel. The cars were ready to make someone’s holiday dreams come true, but there was one problem—there was no more room.
Troy, the General Manager, stood with his team, shaking his head with a grin. “If one more car shows up, we’ll need to park it on the roof!” The showroom floor was so full that even the Christmas tree looked like it might need to find a new parking spot.
And just when things couldn’t get tighter, the phone rang. The next batch of cars was already on its way, scheduled to arrive before Christmas. The countdown was on. They had 7 days to find [...]

The Carbon Series would offer a full carbon fiber aero package, including front splitter, rear wing, and side rockers, plus carbon fiber wheels that shave pounds off the car’s weight. These add to its aggressive look and improve downforce and handling on the track.
The Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition visually blends luxury and performance, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts who favor a sporty, race-ready look and feel.

The C8 Corvette Z06 has finally been put to the ultimate test at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, with Christian Gebhardt of Sport Auto clocking an impressive 7:10 lap time on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. This puts the mid-engine Z06 ahead of the Mercedes-AMG GT R but behind McLaren’s 600LT and 720S.
Equipped with the Z07 Performance Package and carbon-fiber wheels, the US-spec Z06 demonstrated its power with 670 horsepower from its 5.5L flat-plane crank V8. Notably, the lap time improves by 3 seconds over the C7 Z06, but some fans might find the difference smaller than expected. Factors like the C8’s longer gearing (maxing at 151 mph vs. 158 mph for the C7) and heavier weight played a role.
Still, the C8 Z06 remains a game-changer. With 2.6 seconds to 60 mph, a quarter-mile in 10.6 seconds, and a price
