Car was purchased new at Earl Hayes Chevrolet in Dallas Texas.
First owner was a captain in the us air force / pilot.
After retiring, the original owner was active with the local corvette club, enjoyed car shows and just driving his baby. Unfortunately, he passed due to ill health and his corvette was stored for 4 years; the car was sold by the family in an estate sale in 2010.
The buyer of the corvette is a professional corvette restorer who i knew as a member of the ncrs organization.
The second owner contacted the restorer & purchased the car in the beginning stages of the restoration and was active in the complete restoration process, car was completed in 2013.
