Here Comes the Judge – 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible Black
Just when we thought Mike had found some of the nicest cars around, he goes and out does himself again! This time he found one of the nicest and rarest GTO’s around, a 1969, Triple Black, GTO Judge, Convertible, with a 4 speed. This is one of only 4 known to be manufactured this way. But it does not end there, this GTO Judge has 16 Factory Options!
When it comes to ‘69 GTO’s only a limited amount ever left the factory, fewer were convertibles, and prospecting gold was easier than trying to find a Black one with a stick.
In 2011, vin 170775, was found and treated to an amazing full frame off restoration to exacting details. With a total 16 options this Judge stands tall amongst its peers. The most collectible color combo of all GTO’s, this car screams Muscle Car Era from the bell tower. Finding such a rare car today is getting harder and harder, but can you imagine the look on Mr. Teeters face when his packet from PHS arrived in the mail? Pontiac Historical Society packet that is. It would be like Christmas to a 5-year-old getting your first train set! Let’s have a look at what was on that list of goodies:
RAM Air III Engine correctly sourced and documented with PHS.
Saf-t-track HD differential.
Power Steering.
Power disc brakes.
Covered headlights.
Push button radio.
Clock.
Remote mirror.
Bucket seats w/console.
Soft Ray glass.
Mats front and rear.

Rally II wheels.
So the next step is to make it yours and enter it in the next Pontiac Nationals for judging and watch all the jaws drop. It will not last long, so call, or stop by, soon.
