1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Coupe LeMans Blue

If you were going to build your perfect “Z” back in the day, this one might be it! From its LeMans Blue paint w/White stripes to its Black interior highlighted with Rally gauges and N34 Rosewood steering wheel, this rotisserie restored example is the embodiment of what a high performance Camaro shout be! But this best and most sought-after option this Z/28 has is the rare Rally Sport package. It completes and complements the car perfectly. The car is also nicely documented with the original P-o-P and restoration receipts.

1968 Camaro Z/28 Matador Red w/Black interior, 302/290hp, 4-spd manual transmission.

By 1968, the horsepower wars were at a fever pitch!  High performance muscle and sports cars were on offer from the Big Three in just about every configuration and cubic inches were King!!  From 427 big blocks from Chevy and Ford to 426 Hemi’s from Chrysler.  Bigger was better and there wasn’t anything you couldn’t get as far as performance was concerned.  However, later in the model year, there was a little know option called RPO Z/28 Special Performance Package that became available and it featured a very special 302c.i. small block with solid lifters and a 4-spd close ratio manual transmission.  And if you checked that box on your order form, you ended up with a race car for the street!    This was quite a deal for only $358.10!  Thus, a legend was born . . .

The correct example presented here has been completely restored and features factory Custom interior and Rally gauge package.

As sharp as the ’67 and ’68’s were and are, the ’69 was even more so! Every line on the car was just right! This awesome example is one of the nicest SS 396’s we’ve ever had in stock! It’s been completely and correctly rotisserie restored and is equipped with the optioned with the 350hp big block, 4-spd transmission, gauge package, and N34 Rosewood steering wheel. And for that extra bit of meanness, Blue painted steel wheels with “Poverty” hub caps.
