All Electric Powered Corvette?
Will the Corvette go fully electric? Not yet, according to Corvette Chief Engineer Tony Roma and CEO Mary Barra. Chevy isn’t interested in electrifying the Corvette just to follow trends. As Roma told CBS News, “We don’t put technology on for technology’s sake.” Any move toward an electric Corvette would only happen if it truly enhances power, performance, and driving experience—or if customers demand it, which isn’t the case right now.
Mary Barra reinforced this, saying Chevrolet will be “guided by the consumer” on the Corvette’s future. While Chevy aims for an all-electric lineup by 2035, they won’t rush to compromise the Corvette’s spirit. In the meantime, Chevy is preparing to unleash the hybrid Corvette Zora, expected as early as next year. With rumors of 1,200 horsepower, it could be the most powerful Corvette ever. While an all-electric version isn’t here yet, Chevy’s hybrid innovations show they’re still pushing the limits of performance. |

1977 L82 Coupe We’re willing to bet you’ve never seen a Black ’77 Corvette quite like this! What you’re looking at is a completely original car (aside from maintenance) with just 2,433 miles on the odometer—and it shows! From its glossy Black exterior to the immaculate Black leather interior and smooth-running L82 engine, this is truly one of the finest ’77s you’ll come across. Mike originally purchased this stunning 1977 Black Corvette from its original owners when it had just 1,580 miles. We later sold it and have now reacquired this exceptional car. With its impressive history, it has earned the prestigious N.C.R.S. 4-Star Bowtie Award and comes with a comprehensive collection of documents, awards, books, manuals, and more! Mileage 2,433 Miles!
Very original and a fantastic driver! We all admire a finely restored vintage Corvette, but many of us prefer a car we can actually enjoy on the road. That’s why “driver-quality” mid-year Corvettes are becoming more popular. A great example is this Silver Pearl ’65. It’s been maintained, driven, and enjoyed over the years. Not just a showpiece, but a car you can confidently take anywhere. One of the best-driving ’65s we’ve had in a while! It features a numbers-matching L76 small block with a 4-speed manual, plus power brakes, power windows, aluminum knock-off wheels, AM/FM radio, Teakwood steering wheel, and a new exhaust system. The car’s been repainted once, the original interior is in excellent shape, and it has a newer soft top. Freshly serviced and ready to hit the road, this ’65 is an absolute blast to drive! Some Random Thoughts |
I wonder if clouds ever get jealous of each other. Like, ‘Oh great, Dave is a thunderstorm again. Show-off’. Isn’t it strange that we call it ‘rush hour’ when nothing is actually rushing? It should be called ‘sit-in-your-car-and-ponder-life hour’. Why is it that whenever I try to eat healthy, my fridge looks like it’s hosting a farewell party for all the junk food? |
