1967 Tuxedo Black Corvette L68 Convertible

Beautiful and rare factory A-C big block!
1967 Black L68 Corvette Convertible 6489

Tuxedo Black w/Red interior, L68 427/400hp, 4-speed manual transmission.

Many (if not most) aficionados consider the ’67 model year the pinnacle Corvette performance development! This was a milestone year, as it was the first year for the Tri-Power carb set up (three duces) for the 427 big blocks. And the last year for the C2’s (or second generation) body style. But ironically, what turned out to be the best year for Corvette, almost didn’t happen at all!

Anticipation was high for the introduction of the third generation, which was originally scheduled to come out as a ’67. However, the new Shark wasn’t quite ready for primetime. So, it was decided that the mid-years would be extended to run through ’67. As a result, the subtle refinements, such as revised side vents, and back up lights, a proper hand brake, and the stunning aluminum bolt on wheel option, came to available only in ’67.

But what [...]

1961 Black Corvette Fuel Injected 6446

Tuxedo Black w/Red interior, 283/315hp, 4-Speed Manual Transmission

1961 was a turning point in Corvette history — the final year of the legendary 283ci engine, and it went out with a bang! Chevrolet offered five variations that year, from the mild-mannered 250hp single-quad to the fire-breathing, fuel-injected 315hp solid-lifter V8. And if you were hunting for the baddest, most exotic Corvette on the showroom floor, this was the one that made hearts race and wallets open!

The example offered here is nothing short of breathtaking. Finished in the ultra-desirable Tuxedo Black with Red interior, it’s undergone a no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration that leaves nothing to be desired. Under the hood, its numbers-matching, fuel-injected 283/315hp engine delivers the raw, high-revving punch that defined America’s sports car in its purest form — all funneled through a crisp 4-speed [...]

Step back into 1958 — the year Corvette turned from a sports car into an American legend!

This one-year-only beauty wasn’t just a car; it was a statement. The all-new design screamed excitement with quad headlamps, a simulated louvered hood, and those unforgettable dual chrome trunk spears — details found only on the ’58. Longer, wider, and more refined, it was the first Corvette that truly blended race-bred performance with high style.

Under the hood beats the heart of a champion — the numbers-correct, fuel-injected 283ci/290hp V8 paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. One blip of the throttle and you’ll understand why 1958 was the year Chevrolet finally turned [...]
