The ’67 model year was the end of an era, as it was the last year for the 2nd generation Corvette. It’s considered by many (if not all) aficionados as the high-water mark in Corvette production. And the ’67 L71 Tri-Power big block was the top dog for street engines!

This absolutely stunning Chevrolet SSR was special ordered by the late Bruce Patchett, former owner of Bruce Chevrolet in Hillsboro, Oregon — for his personal collection. A true enthusiast, Bruce built this SSR as a tribute to one of his favorite models, ordering it in his signature Redline Red and checking every single factory option available at the time — plus a few dealer-installed extras.

For much of its later life, this SSR enjoyed a pampered retirement at Bruce’s vacation home in Arizona, stored in a climate-controlled garage reserved exclusively for this vehicle. To say it was cherished would be an understatement!
