When the 5th generation Corvette was introduced as a ’97 model, Chevrolet started to think seriously about re-entering the racing arena. And what followed were decades of race wins and championships with the C5, C6, C7, and now the C8 Corvette! When Corvette won the IMSA GTLM Championship in ’21, it was only natural that a street version of the winning car was made available for the general public.
When you checked RPO ZC5 on your dealer order form, what you got was a limited edition (1000 or so units built) in your choice of Hypersonic Gray w/Yellow stripes or Accelerate Yellow w/Gray stripes. Interior colors were Sky Cool Gray/Strike Yellow. In addition to the exclusive color combinations, the cars were equipped with:
