Exciting SUV debuts from BMW, Jaguar, and Land Rover will join such sports cars as the new Aston Martin Vantage and Corvette ZR1.

Last week Aston Martin introduced photos of the $149,995 2018 Vantage, a four-liter AMG twin-turbo V8 coupe that gets 503-horsepower and 505 pound-feet of torque.
Its bold, bare grill is the face of a new Aston Martin, one pointed toward younger buyers, those who want flashy colors (the Vantage in the debut photos came in a radioactive green) and more-aggressive angles along its two-door body.
Aston Martin typically doesn’t introduce cars at the Los Angeles Auto Show each November—but it will show the new Vantage on its stand Nov. 29 through Dec. 10 for the annual event.

Total Charitable Donations Now Exceed $25 Million

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 8, 2017) — The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is celebrating a major milestone: the event’s total charitable giving to date has surpassed the $25 million mark. Total donations exceeded that figure after Pebble Beach Company CEO Bill Perocchi distributed $1.7 million from the 2017 Concours to local organizations at the event’s annual charity luncheon on Tuesday.
“We’re so glad that an event that brings great cars together can also bring help to people in need,” said Concours Chairman Sandra Button. “Our thanks go out to all of the many people and the many partners who have helped us reach this level of giving.”

The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will make its global debut this weekend. Not in the U.S., however, but at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. Our insiders tell us that the weather is currently hot and humid there—good times.
