The Chevy Corvette is making more waves in the car world! It has now snagged the top spot in the Canadian Black Book 2023 Awards for Best Retained Value in a Sports Car: Luxury category. What’s the big deal? Well, it means the Corvette holds onto most of its original value compared to other used cars.
And that’s not all. Back in March, it also clinched first place in the Canadian Black Book 2023 Best Residual Value Award for its category. This award looks at how likely a car is to hold its value four years after it’s first sold. The Corvette came out on top as the one most likely to keep its worth even after several years.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the new tentative date for the start of regular production (SORP) for the Corvette E-Ray is set for Monday, November 27th, 2023. The SORP date was previously slated for Monday, October 23rd, but has since been pushed back.
As anticipated, the 2024 Corvette Stingray production began on September 5th, 2023, and the 2024 Corvette Z06 started on October 2nd. Production of the 2024 Corvette Z06 got under way on October 2nd.

This impressive ultra-rare 1967 L89 coupe is currently on its way back to Corvette Mike in Anaheim, CA.
RPO L89 added aluminum cylinder heads to the already potent L71 427/435hp engine. The lightweight cylinder heads took roughly 75lbs off the front of the car resulting in a lower center of gravity, better rear weight bias, and an improved overall power to weight ratio. Horsepower was listed at 435 which was the same as the more widely known 435hp L71 engine, though the L89’s aluminum heads had larger exhaust valves yielding more airflow. Estimated horsepower for L89’s is in the neighborhood of 500. In the end, just 16 L89 Corvettes were produced in St.
