This extended break marks one of the longest holiday temporary production pauses in Corvette history, though GM has not confirmed a specific reason. Possible explanations include managing production levels, implementing line improvements, or conducting maintenance.

Peter Brock, the renowned automotive designer and author, had been captivated by cars from a young age. Richard E.’s 1966 Corvette & Meeting Its Legendary Designer

When I shared my Corvette’s story with him, he was thrilled, especially to hear that I’ve kept it road-ready with modern upgrades for regular driving. He gifted me a signed copy of his book, Corvette Stingray: Genesis of an American Icon, making it a treasured part of my Corvette’s journey. This unforgettable encounter brought me closer to the rich history of my car.
