Despite falling short of a podium finish, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R exhibited promise during the race. The Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports No. 3 and No. 4 cars led a combined 118 laps in the GTD Pro class out of the 773-lap race. Unfortunately, both Pratt Miller Corvettes encountered mechanical issues, with the No. 3 car suffering a cracked oil tank and the No. 4 car needing a replacement power steering pump.
The No. 3 Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports Z06 GT3.R spent 10 minutes in the garage, where mechanics worked diligently in the engine bay. Upon returning to the track, the car was eight laps behind the GTD PRO leader. Unfortunately, just before the 19th hour, its race came to an end. Similarly, the No. 4 Corvette also had to visit the garage and undergo a power steering pump replacement within the final six hours, concluding its day on the track.

John W’s 2014 C7
After hunting for a dealer with allocations for convertibles, we ended up ordering this 2014 Corvette Convertible from a local dealer in central PA. It took GM 3-months to accept our order. We took delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, in late July, and drove it home.
This is Corvette #7 for me. It all started in 1977 when I bought my first Corvette. It was a competition Orange T-top 4-speed L82 coupe. That started it. Since then, I’ve owned a ’78, a ’93 40th Anniversary edition, an ’01 coupe, a ‘2010 coupe, a 2012 Grand Sport and this C7. The color is Lime Rock Green. We saw this new color at GM tent at Corvettes at Carlisle in 2013. My better half took one look at the beautiful metallic green paint and told me to get one.
I’m a member of the National Corvette Museum and we enjoy the Museum In Motion events they sponsor. This car has been across the country to Long Beach, California and has been part of the National Park tour with the museum. We’ve made numerous friends on our trips and look forward to more in the future.
I can honestly say, this Corvette is the most refined Corvette I’ve owned, the most comfortable to drive, fantastic gas mileage and still gets looks when we take it out for a drive. I’ve owned two Porsche’s between Corvettes and came back to Corvette to stay..
Honduras Maroon w/Black Interior, 327/360hp Fuel Injected, 4-Speed
This ’62 has been beautifully restored and is an N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award winner! It’s part of the estate sale of Mr. John J. He was a knowledgeable N.C.R.S. member and G.M. executive who will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Rally Red w/White & Red Interior, L71 427/435hp, 4-Speed
From Corvette Mike Vietro . . .” I have seen many Vettes over the 42 plus years I’ve been in this business, but this is one of the rarest 1967 L71’s I have ever had the pleasure to offer for sale. Pristinely preserved with only 14411 miles, this N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award winner, hand-rubbed Rally Red lacquer paint, and still sports its original interior. Spectacular attention has been given to this L71 including a detailed engine compartment and chassis. It comes with a binder full of original docs and awards, including the Tank Sticker, Order Copy and Shipper. Even a copy of the original title for ’67!
If you miss this opportunity to buy a virtually new one of a kind ’67 435 Coupe, you will go to your grave kicking yourself in the pants for not stepping up to the plate on and owning the very best money can buy. Because after all “We Sell the Best and Service the Rest”!!!

Some Random Thoughts
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
As a child my family’s menu consisted of two choices: Take it or leave it.
Excellent service, they found the problem with my car no other mechanic could. C7 z06 looks good as new, and they threw in a free wash.
My 1970 Corvette needed a new headlight switch, which meant tearing the dash apart, and I didn’t want an amateur destroying it, so I brought it to Corvette Mikes and they fixed it, along with the vacuum operated windshield wipers, and now I can drive at night in the rain!

These guys are Experts! I brought my 2008 vette in for service and they were great! They kept me up to date, explained the various issues found in a detailed way as well as explaining their solution approach. The shop is extremely clean and professional with incredibly low rates. You will be happy to have them work on your car.
