Take a look at this fresh photo of the new Corvettes at the Corvette Assembly Plant, poised for dispatch! At first glance, it looked like a snowy landscape, but it turns out those are brand-new Corvettes cloaked in their shipping covers, all set for delivery to dealerships for customers. It seems like Jack Cooper Transport might be struggling to keep pace.
As we welcome March, it’s an opportune moment to review some production insights and assess our current status. For these discussions, we refer to Roger Kiel’s Unofficial Production Estimate.
Early in the month, the plant ran some overtime shifts, and just this past week, production exceeded 200 units on several days. The E-Rays are on an upward trajectory, with 30 units produced during the week of February 19th, though this week saw a dip to 15 units through Thursday.

Search for a New Leader
Photo Credit: National Corvette MuseumThe National Corvette Museum Board of Directors is actively seeking a new CEO following the departure of Sharon Brawner, who served as president and CEO until earlier this month. In the interim, Bryce Burklow is fulfilling the role of Chief Operating Officer until a permanent successor is appointed.
Kaye Wagner, Chair of the Board, expressed the commitment to advancing the search for new leadership while maintaining the museum’s legacy and connections to staff, donors, members, and the Corvette community. In a message to the “members of the Corvette Community,” Wagner emphasized the importance of continuing the museum’s progress of the past 30 years.
Wagner highlighted the museum’s achievements, including expanding exhibits, educational programs, enhancing visitor experiences, and hosting memorable events. She credited this progress to the collective efforts of the entire community,

According to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Walker assaulted and robbed a truck driver at the Loves Truck Stop in Willcox, near Interstate 10. He engaged the victim in conversation about the truck’s cargo, then suddenly attacked him and forcibly ejected him from the cab, exploiting the victim’s trust.
Driving off with the semi, which contained 10 Chevrolet C8 Corvettes valued at over $1.25 million, Walker evaded a pursuing deputy, driving recklessly and endangering other motorists.
Ultimately, law enforcement managed to halt the stolen truck, leading to Walker’s arrest. Despite the valuable cargo, Walker claimed his motive was solely to find transportation home after
A decade has passed since a colossal sinkhole engulfed prized cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.
At around 5:30 a.m. on February 12, 2014, the cave-in tragically claimed eight cars from the museum’s multi-million-dollar Corvette collection. The event was captured on video and images from the museum’s security cameras, quickly gaining viral attention.
Director of Collections, Robert Maxhimer, remarked, “It really put the museum on the map and exposed it to people who may not have known of its existence.” The museum experienced a resurgence, becoming a tourist hotspot and attracting new investments.
On Monday Maxhimer announced an upcoming exhibit titled “Ground to Sky: The Sinkhole Reimagined,” set to open this summer. The exhibit will feature the cars recovered from the sinkhole, including the fully restored one-millionth Corvette by GM, along with a captivating time-lapse of its restoration process.
The exhibit will
