Rolls-Royce upgraded the Corniche for 1992 and presented it at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan that year. With the 1994 closing of Mulliner Park Ward, this generation is considered the last of the Corniche series, as the Corniche IV is widely regarded as the last coach-built example produced by Rolls-Royce, with their final run having been in 1995.
As a Corniche IV, it came with many improvements over its predecessor: increased horsepower, dual front airbags, four-speed transmission, complete power top with automatic latches and glass rear window, adaptive suspension, air conditioning, fabulous burl wood interior trim elements, and all the luxury and convenience commensurate with an internationally recognized Rolls-Royce model — all with a base MSRP over $285,000.
The magnificent 1993 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV Anniversary Convertible featured here is finished in Special Anniversary Ming Blue over Magnolia leather interior with matching convertible top. As an anniversary edition, this motorcar is equipped with many special features, such as rear burl walnut picnic trays, special cocktail bars in both doors, anniversary wheel covers, special leather seat design, additional special walnut wood trim on the doors, and a sterling silver anniversary plaque in the glovebox.
This incredible motorcar has been maintained by a Marque specialist and has been driven just 4,600 miles. This highly desirable limited-edition 1993 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV Anniversary Convertible is one of the most collectible of all modern-day Rolls-Royces, and seldom do they come to market with the extremely low mileage and incredible condition of this one. I personally believe the investment potential of this limited-edition Rolls-Royce will grow beyond your imagination.
As you may know, Rolls-Royce no longer exists as it has for the past hundred years; it is now owned by BMW and models are being mass-produced. The days of cars being handcrafted by artisans in Crewe are now just a fond memory. This 1993 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV Anniversary Convertible was built at a time when Rolls-Royce was truly building the world’s finest motorcars with the utmost level of care and craftsmanship evident in every detail. This is a rare opportunity for the most particular collector, investor, or enthusiast to acquire one of the best examples on the market today.
