1964 Tuxedo Black Corvette Fuel Injected Tanker
The rarest '64 F.I. in existence!!Tuxedo Black w/Silver interior, 327/375hp Fuel Injected, 4-speed manual transmission.
This car was ordered by Ed Sullivan, a GM employee in the Marketing Section, from Luby Chevrolet in Denver, Colorado, around Christmas of 1963. He wanted a ’64 version of the Z06 he already owned, but with a reverse color scheme: black over silver instead of silver over black. The car was built on February 27, 1964, and delivered to him on March 6, 1964. Production had been delayed while waiting for special-order parts, and Ed even received a letter from St. Louis apologizing for the delay. By the time he took delivery, he had relocated to El Paso, Texas.
By September 1964, Ed listed the car for sale in Road & Track, running ads until late 1965. He was unable to sell it at the price he wanted. The car resurfaced in 1975, catching the attention of California racer Jack Murray. By then, Ed [...]
1982 Silver Beige Corvette Collector Edition Coupe
Excellent, low miles example!Silver Beige w/Silver Beige interior, L83 350/200hp Crossfire V8, 4-speed automatic transmission.
The ‘82 model year was a significant one for Corvette. It marked the end of the line for the third generation. At 14 years, it was (and remains) the longest model run in Corvette history! To commemorate this event, a special “Collector Edition” was introduced. It came with basically every available option and was the first Corvette to have an MSRP of over $20k. The C.E. came finished in a beautiful Silver Beige exterior with a brown hood and side stripes, “Collector Edition” emblems, and turbine style aluminum wheels that were reminiscent of the bolt on’s offered in ’67. On the inside, the theme continued with Silver Beige seats and door panels.
But what also set the C.E. apart from the base Corvettes offered in ’82 was an opening rear hatch. The first and only time this feature was offered on a Shark! [...]

1967 Goodwood Green Corvette L71 Coupe – The Famous “Wingate Corvette”
1 of 1 Factory Special Order • Built for Bob Wingate by Chevrolet Product Promotions
This ’67 Corvette is the only known, documented example of a Factory Shop Order Corvette. The car was built especially for Bob Wingate by Joe Pike of Chevrolet Product Promotions, as a special favor and reward. Wingate led the nation for a number of years in a row for single handedly selling the most Corvettes for an individual . . . over 160 in 1967 alone! Wingate, who personally sold more Corvettes than any other salesman in the U.S. during the 1960s, received this car as [...]
1965 Ermine White Corvette “Tanker” Coupe
Extremely rare Tanker. One of only 41 built!Ermine White w/White vinyl interior, L79 327/350hp, 4-speed manual transmission.
Originally delivered to Roger Dean Chevrolet in Huntington W.VA, to a Dr. J. Evan Sadler Jr. A forensic pathologist who worked for the state (think C.S.I.) The good Dr. must have fancied himself somewhat of a “White Knight” that would be able to travel all over W.VA in comfort and performance, making limited fuel stops! Because this ’65 Ermine White w/White vinyl interior Corvette is equipped with the ultra-rare 36.5-gallon fuel tank option. One of only 41 Coupes so equipped! It’s believed that to get this Tanker built, it required a C.O.P.O. direct from Zora himself!
It also happens to be loaded with some very desirable equipment. Such as:
L79 327/350hp engine, Air Conditioning, M20 4-speed manual transmission, Posi-Traction rear end, Soft Ray tinted glass, Teakwood steering wheel, telescoping steering column, Radio delete, Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows, [...]
