For those of you in Corvette Land who are in the market for a ’67 that’s a bit out of the ordinary, look no further than this gorgeous L71 Convertible.

When one of the previous owners decided he wanted to restore this car, he decided to paint it in and extremely rare color combination of Tuxedo Black with a Blue Stinger. Only a handful of ’67’s came out of St. Louis in this color combination, and it’s truly a sight to behold in person! Equipped with side exhaust, but no radio, as that exhaust note is all the music you need to hear!

Add into the equation, a nut and bolt, frame-off restoration, and you’ve got an awesome mid-year that will be an absolute thrill to drive and show!

The ’73 model year was an interesting one for Corvette. It was a real mixture of old and new. The federally mandated 5mph bumpers were being phased in this year, and Corvette did something unique for the ’73. They incorporated the new urethane 5mph bumper in the front of the car but kept the twin chrome bumpers in the rear for one final year. That created what we think is one of the sleekest Sharks ever built! For the most part, the front end was all-new! In addition to the bumper, the fenders featured new side vents, and the hood incorporated (For the first time on a Corvette) a cowl induction system which brought cool air from the base of the windshield into the engine compartment. The new hood also replaced the pneumatic windshield wiper door.

Features a worked Corvette LS6 V8 (383 cu in, 11.2 compression, titanium rods, etc., $20k in special parts and labor) with 602hp and 543lbs/ft of torque. Heavy duty 930 turbo 4-speed stick. 235/17 x 275/17 fresh Toyos. 2500 lbs. Low mileage on motor, showing 71k miles, TMU.

Each aspect of this track/street build was managed by top pros in So. Cal. Finely calibrated throughout. Amenities? An FM radio. Porsche wheel caps with it.

Most certainly not for the faint of heart!
