The Power Wagon has been around in various forms going back 60 years, but never has Dodge made one quite like this 1949 Power Wagon.

The original Dodge Power Wagon was introduced in 1945 as a civilian version of Dodge’s military WC series of trucks. Designed as a utility truck, it came standard with four-wheel drive and was powered by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine.

This truck, however, was handed over to Legacy Classic Trucks in 2012 and turned into the ultimate rock-crawler. As such, it received a dizzying array of suspension modifications, which are all tied into the truck’s bed and roll cage. The original inline-six has been replaced with a modified Chevy LS3 V-8 that’s bolted to heavy-duty running gear. The cab has been chopped two inches, and the truck’s bed is a custom unit.

The Team at Corvette Mike would like to wish each of you a safe, happy and healthy Fourth of July!

July 4th is a day to celebrate our freedom, specifically the freedom to govern ourselves. Even in the midst of sharp political divide, Americans have always known that July 4th is the day we celebrate our freedoms that the Founders fought and died for. Let’s take a moment during our celebrations this holiday weekend to remember those that have given their lives for our freedom throughout the history of this great country.

God Bless America!

The 2015 Corvette is a true world class sports car.

WASHINGTON — The redesigned Corvette C7 hit the streets last year and it was an instant hit. Already, they are tweaking it for 2015.

The new eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the old six-speed unit, offering very quick shifts and better fuel economy. There is also a performance data recorder — a camera that records you driving, like at the track, and lets you watch it back like you’re watching a race on TV.

So, like someone who cares about each of you, I took one for the team and spent a week with Corvette convertible to try out that nifty data recorder and to see whether you can drive the Corvette as your daily driver. The Corvette has been known as a good track car, but not the easiest to drive all the time. The ride was too hard or the interior and seats were [...]

Terry Dietrich cannot describe in words the moment last week when, for the first time in 43 years, she laid eyes on her beloved bright blue Corvette Stingray — stolen from her in 1972, when she was 19.

“It’s a memory in my head that I will never, ever forget,” said Dietrich, 62, a lifelong resident of Duluth.

Even better: The reunion was on her birthday, filmed on Thursday for the “Today Show.”

“It was an awesome day,” she said.

The strange and somewhat miraculous story of Dietrich’s missing Stingray began back in 1953, the year both she and the Stingray debuted. Dietrich said she’d always hoped to own one.

Her dream came true in ’72, but only for a few months. On Nov. 14 of that year, the Stingray was stolen from the parking lot of her work, she said.

The police told [...]
