Five Things We Miss

Sure, new cars are great and offer amazing features that make driving almost automatic and entertain the kids with TVs and games. They can even tell you where to turn and warn you when you are not braking soon enough or drifting out of your lane.

Even though cars are constantly changing/improving, we can’t help but look back fondly at some of the features that are no longer available.

We all have our list of items we wish were available on our new cars, but here is our list:

Pop up headlights: These used to be common on Corvettes from 1963 through 2004. This is the most common complaint we hear from customers.

Rear split-window: This is just an iconic feature that may not have been practical, but it sure was an awesome look. In 1964, many people actually cut the bar away because they wanted people to think that their car was brand-new. These people probably regret their decision now.

T-top’s: T-tops weren’t perfect, they were cumbersome to remove and often leaked water into the car, but we still loved them!

Huge comfortable seats: If you have never driven a car with a pillow-top bench seat, you don’t know what driving your most comfortable couch down the street is like.

Side exhaust: Sure, these made your neighbors mad at you, but there is nothing like the sound of a Big-Block singing out a pair of leg burning pipes just below the doors.

What are the features that you miss the most?
