The Corvette SR-2 Racer evokes an emotional response from everyone that sees it. At the time of it’s introduction it represented the highest level of automotive racing design and performance. This was the first General Motors “purpose-built” American Sports Racing Car from the Golden Era of Racing. The SR-2 was the combined spirit [...]

While General Motors has offered some other spicy sedans like the Chevrolet SS and the Pontiac G8 before it, the Cadillac CTS-V has been the big dog 4-door from GM. Since it first hit the street in 2004, the CTS-V has been one of the baddest big sedans sold in America and it has achieved that title with help from a Corvette engine. As expected, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is packing Corvette power and there is a good chance that it will still be one of the baddest sedans on the road when it arrives sometime next year.

Introducing the New CTS-V
While the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will make its grand formal debut next month at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, General Motors announced all of the most important details on the new luxury performance sedan.

Every car collector’s dream is uncovering an amazing barn filled with perfectly preserved classic cars.

And for two “motorcar specialists” from auction house Artcurial Motorcars, that dream became a reality.

I have to say that when we arrived here, we found ourselves overcome with emotion.”

The cars were collected by French transportation mogul Roger Baillon, who fell on hard times in the ’70s and had [...]

According to reports, pop artist Peter Max did not pay two New York men out of commissions on the sale of his storied Corvette collection. He is further accused of selling a New Jersey woman artwork that was “ghost painted” for him.

Jeff Wallner and Kenneth Simmons are suing Peter Max and his agent Larry Moskowitz for $1 million, claiming Max asked them to sell off his collection of 36 Corvettes in exchange for a 10 percent commission. The corvette collection was bought from the VH1 contest winner and included one Corvette from each year between 1953 and 1989.

Wallner and Simmons also helped sell Max’s famous “Statute of Liberty” painting to a collector for $500,000, but when the collector learned that the Max had not personally painted the painting, but had rather had a ghost painter paint it and just signed the finished piece, they had to give her a Marilyn Monroe [...]
