Big changes were in store for the ‘58 model run. The biggest being a substantial body revision. This included both width and length expansions on the outside, which brought more breathing room on the inside. Dual headlights were a first for Corvette this year. And there were distinctive design elements that became a one-year-only exclusive to the ‘58. These included a louvered hood and two chrome spears running parallel down the trunk. This would prove to be the most adorned Corvette to date!
