Silver w/Red interior, 327/340hp, 4-spd. manual transmission.
From the first moment, the press and public got a look at the new ’63 Split Window Coupe, it was love at first sight! And it has remained so, to this day. The controversial split rear window was stunning to look at. Even though it was difficult to look out of! But function won the battle over form, and the split was gone the following year. Replaced by a rear full window with an unobstructed view. But, nonetheless, a legend was born. And today, the ’63 S.W.C. is a much sought after collectible Corvette classic who’s timeless design is just as beautiful today as it was back then!
We acquired this ’63 from a local So. CA. owner, who’s father had owned the car for decades. During that time, it underwent a sprucing up, which involved a repaint in Sebring Silver (The car was originally Ermine White), interior resto, engine rebuild and various other items that we have a huge file on. The matching #’s 327/340hp engine runs beautifully with excellent power and response and the 4-spd. transmission shifts smoothly. This is a pretty car, but not a trailer queen. You can drive it without fear of an errant stone chip ruining your year. These cars were built to drive and enjoy. And that’s exactly what you will want to do with this one! Comes with the aforementioned receipt file, N.C.R.S. Shipping Data Report and a very rare and original Warranty Book and Owner’s Manual.
