The ’65 model year was a milestone one for Corvette. It was the first year for the soon to be legendary big block engine and the only year for the 396ci in a Corvette. It was also the first year for 4-wheel disc brakes. The ’65 was also the year of “lasts”.  The most significant being the end of the line for fuel injection. The ’65 fuelies were also the rarest of the breed with only 771 total units built that year. Fuel injection was about as exotic and “European” as it got for the mid-year Corvettes. And the example presented here, resplendent in its Glen Green exterior definitely looks the part!

The car has been meticulously restored and is absolutely stunning from every angle! The car has just undergone an extensive service, and its original C.C.A.S. Certified engine still resides under the hood!  Brand new gold line radial tires have just been installed. It’s ready to drive, admire and enjoy.
