When fuel injection was introduced as an option for the ’57 Corvette, it was the peak of technology up to that point! For the first time, an American car had this advanced fuel system. And when you ordered RPO 579B or 579D, you got an engine that for the first time put out 283hp from a 283ci engine! The era of the high-performance Corvette had finally arrived, with a vengeance!

By ’65, the last of the “Fuelies” were coming off the line in St. Louis. These were the peak of F.I. performance, putting out 375hp in 327ci small block form. Only 771 fuel injected Corvettes were built that year. An instant collectible!

The meticulously done frame-off restoration was completed around ’20 and still looks ultra fresh! The paint is show-quality and it’s equipped with some highly desirable options, such as, side exhaust system, knock off wheels wrapped in Gold line bias ply tires.
