1967 Green Corvette L79 Convertible
Striking Emerald Green with Saddle interior.$89,500
Green w/Saddle interior, L79 327/350hp, 4-spd. manual transmission.
The last of a generation is often considered the best of the breed. And in the cast of the second-generation Corvette, this was definitely the case! The funny thing is, the ’67 C2 wasn’t even supposed to exist! The much anticipated third generation or “Shark” bodied Corvette was scheduled to make its debut as a ’67. However, it was not quite ready for primetime. So, it was decided that one more year was needed until its release. But, because of this decision, the C2 had one more year of development. And we all know the result. With just a bit more tweaking here and there, the ’67 became the best of the mid-year Corvettes!
This ’67 came out of the factory as a Goodwood Green L79 Convertible. But, when one of the previous owner’s decided a complete restoration was in order, he also decided that the stock Green wouldn’t suffice. So, he went with an Emerald Green instead. The result is a striking color combo on a great driver! Options include a #’s matching 327/350hp small block mated up to a 4-spd. manual transmission and a Positraction rear end, p/b, p/s, side exhaust and bolt on wheels wrapped in Whitewall radial tires. This is a Corvette that you can drive anywhere and enjoy. As well as take to Cars and Coffee!
