Monza Red w/Black interior, L36 427/390hp big block, 4-speed manual transmission.
Many Corvette aficionados feel that ’69 was the year everything was just about right! Going into its second year of an amazing 14-year run, this one would be a milestone. It was the first year for the larger small block, having increased from 327ci to 350ci. It was also the last year for the 427ci big block. As the ’70 moder year would bring another increase in cubic inches up to 454. But nothing quite carried the mystique of the 427.
The beauty presented here is very original. And it’s believed to have only 55k miles on its odometer. It’s been very well preserved and cared for over the decades. The cosmetics are excellent, and the convertible soft top and seat covers have been recently replaced. The #’s matching L36 427 runs great and the close ratio M21 4-speed. transmission shifts crisply.
The car comes with a Red hard top and features an original style ignition, exhaust system and bumpers.
It’s a great looking and running Shark!
