Burgandy w/Black interior, 350ci, 4-spd. manual transmission.

The 1973 model year was a transitional one for Corvette. The federally mandated 5mpg bumpers were being phased in and by ’74 most, if not all American cars had them. And unfortunately, the result of the bumpers were just plain ugly steel girder-looking devices that made the mid-’70’s a low point in automotive styling. However, Corvette somehow managed to overcome the issues that seemed to plague the other divisions and came up with what we think is one of the most beautiful Corvettes ever built! Beautifully incorporating the new urethane front bumper with the classic chrome rear bumper.  This was unique to ’73 as a one year only design, as ’74 required a urethane rear bumper, as well.

The ’73 presented here has undergone a spruce up over the years, starting with a repaint in Burgandy metallic (originally Elkhart Green). The interior was then refurbished with new seats and carpeting. The engine has been refurbished with rebuilt heads, and seals. New shocks, brakes and front bushings have also been installed.  Options include, a-c, p/b, p/s, both hard and soft tops, rally wheels wrapped in radial tires. A great running and looking Shark!

Additional features include:

1. Factory air conditioning system (serviced including rebuilt a/c compressor, new condenser, new hoses, new O-ring seals, charged R-134 refrigerant) blows ice cold air.
2. Custom Autosound AM/FM radio with remote CD player with four new speakers.
3. Dynamat insulation installed under carpets and new rubber boot under gear shifter to keep heat out of passenger compartment.
4. Cooling system serviced (new Dewitts aluminum radiator double flow, new hoses, new thermostat, new overflow tank). On hot day with stop and go traffic with a/c on car never exceeds 180*F temperature.
5. M-21 4-speed transmission completely rebuilt with new clutch and pressure plate.
6. Viper alarm system with ignition kill anti-theft (two key remotes)
7. Exhaust system replaced (OEM reproduction: pipes, muffles, hangers, brackets, stainless extensions).
8. Headlamp system complete rebuild (vacuum hoses, distributors, relays, brackets, pivot bearings, headlamp switch, halogen lamps)
9. Power steering new valve assembly and hoses.
