Sebring Silver w/Black interior, LT-4 350/330HP, 6-spd. manual transmission.
After 12 years, production of the 4th generation Corvette came to an end in ’96. To commemorate this event, not one, but two special editions were introduced. The first was the Grand Sport, which featured the one year only LT-4 engine that was conservatively rated at 330hp. This engine was only available with the 6-spd. manual transmission. The other was the Collector Edition. This one came in either a Coupe or Convertible and was painted Sebring Silver with either a Black, Gray or Red interior. Also included in the Pkg. were chrome C.E. emblems 5-spoke ZR-1 style Silver painted aluminum wheels, Sports sets with special embroidery on the head rests and a Delco/Bose Gold Series CD audio system. Engine choices were the LT-1, which came with the 4-spd. automatic or the previously mentioned LT-4 backed by the 6-spd. manual.
The example presented here is pristine C.E. Coupe with only 39k miles.
