Millennium Yellow w/Black interior, 346/385hp, 6-speed manual transmission.

To Corvette aficionados, the name ZO6 is legendary!  Used for the first time in ’63, it was given to the Split Window Coupe and denoted the Special Performance Equipment RPO.  When you ordered the ZO6 option, you got the fuel-injected engine, 36-gallon gas tank, heavy-duty suspension, and brakes.  These were essentially factory race cars that you could drive on the street!

Fast forward 28 years to 2001.  The 5th generation Corvette has been out since ’97, and the powers that be within Chevrolet decided that a flagship model was needed in the Corvette lineup!  So, starting with the Fixed Roof Coupe body that had been introduced in ’99 for maximum rigidity, and adding in the new 385hp LS6 engine, 6-spd. manual transmission, FE4 heavy-duty suspension, special wheels wrapped in performance, non-run flat Goodyear Eagles, and electronic Dual-Zone climate control for some creature comfort, the new ZO6 was born!  And with go-kart like handling, very impressive power, and efficient fuel economy it was and is a blast to drive!  It continued to prove itself both on the track and on the street.

This example came to us from a gentleman from TX. who had recently taken delivery of a C8.  Space issues prohibited him from keeping both cars, so he reluctantly decided the ZO6 had to go.  He called us, and we were happy to take it off his hands!  The car is in excellent condition, haven been driven only 27k miles.  The exterior has been ceramic coated, and a clear bra protects the front end.  It looks, runs and handles just like a ZO6 should!  And the rare Millennium Yellow exterior fits its character to a T!  It’s been a while since we’ve had a C5 ZO6.  And we anticipate this one won’t stay around very long.
