Going into the last year for C5 Corvette wanted to do something special to send of the very popular 5th generation. What they introduced with the Commemorative Edition. This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is one of 2,025 C. E. models produced to celebrate the C5-R’s class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is powered by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 linked to a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Le Mans Blue over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a carbon-fiber hood, racing stripes, and a titanium exhaust system as well as 17″ and 18″ lightweight alloy wheels, the Memory Package, pop-up headlights, fog lights, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a head-up display, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Bose sound system, and a CD stereo.
