Crystal Red w/Kalahari interior and soft top.
When the all-new 7th generation Corvette was introduced in ’14, hope was building that higher performance versions would soon follow. And Chevrolet didn’t disappoint! Because the very next year the highly anticipated and all-new ZO6 was introduced as a ’15 model. And it was the highest performance Corvette ever built up to that point! Motor-vation came in the form of a 6.2 liter, direct injected and supercharged small block V-8. Horsepower was a stout 650 with a matching 650 lbs.-ft of torque! Compression was 10.5:1 and features included dry-sump oiling, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing. Impressive enough specs for a race motor, let alone an efficient street motor! Another very notable feature was the availability of an automatic transaxle for the first time!
Body-wise what set the C7 ZO6 apart from previous versions was the first time removable roof panel equipped Coupe and the introduction of the first ZO6 Convertible!
Needless to say, the C-7 ZO6 became an instant hit with the press and buying public!
This low-mile example is notable for a number of reasons. Not the least of which is its stunning color combination of Crystal Red exterior with a Kalahari interior and soft top! It definitely makes a beautiful statement! Options include 8-spd. paddle-shift automatic transaxle, 3LZ Equipment Group, which features: NAV, leather covered instrument panel, doors and console, sueded upper interior trim and performance data/video recorder. Additional options include extra cost exterior paint & Carbon Flash hood stinger.
This car was sold new by us to a very good collector client of ours, who babied it during his ownership. It’s in excellent condition throughout with only 9,600 original miles! It’s serviced and ready to enjoy!
