Lynndale Blue w/Blue interior, 427/435hp L71, 4-speed manual transmission.
The Corvette that needs no introduction! There are certain cars and designs that are just known and can be identified by just about everyone. The E-Type Jag of the early to mid-’60s is an example. The mid-year Corvette is another. And the two that are the easiest to spot are the ’63 Coupe with its iconic rear split window and the ’67 big block with its almost as identifiable “Stinger” hood! These Corvette’s were instant classics and have aged about as well as any car has a right to! They’re just as beautiful today, as the day they rolled out of the St. Louis assembly plant.
And so it goes with many of the best and brightest; we tend to get them back, eventually. And this ’67 is no exception! Corvette Mike sold this Lynndale Blue L71 decades ago to a client of ours. It was then sold to a local gentleman in the early ’90s, who’s had it ever since. It’s been a cherished possession, but he found himself not driving it as often as he used to. So, rather than have it sit in his garage and deteriorate, he reluctantly decided it was time to pass her along to the next caretaker. So, back to Corvette Mike it went!
It’s a very original example, with what appears (but not verified) to be original paint, interior, and a matching #’s engine! We’ve serviced it over the years and the car attests to it being a very strong driver! Options include power brakes, both hard and soft tops, and Bolt-on wheels wrapped in redline radial tires.
