CELEBRATE THE MAN WHO MADE CORVETTE AN ICON

Don’t miss out on your chance to see the West Coast public unveiling of the C8 Corvette!

A member of the influential Chevrolet engineering team, Zora Arkus-Duntov became instrumental in transforming the Corvette from a docile boulevardier into a fearsome sports car by installing a succession of ever more powerful engines beginning in 1955 with the 195-horsepower small block V-8. He later spearheaded the development of CERV I (the 1960 Chevrolet Engineering Research Vehicle), the Corvette Grand Sports, the magnesium-bodied Super Sport, and numerous others.

In celebration of Zora Duntov, “the Father of the Corvette,” and his role in immortalizing the Corvette name, the Petersen will be hosting the West Coast public unveiling of the Corvette C8 with an exclusive two-day celebration. On July 27, enjoy a night of entertainment, food by Drago, and a one-of-a-kind Corvette display featuring the first prototype Corvette, the CERV I, and the all new Corvette C8. The VIP reception will be followed the next day by a Corvette rally from the ArtCenter in Pasadena to the Petersen, a Corvette Car Show, and a once-in-a-lifetime panel discussion.
